  • God is powerful and we can take comfort in that he is bigger than any struggle or any demons behind world calamities

  • God is a being that is so intricately beautiful he makes us feel seen, loved, not lonely, calm, at peace with yourself or the issue that is burdening your heart

  • Like we said last week that I want to go into more detail about is how the devil attacks you but in different ways. The devil will constantly abide by the same sins that the Bible talks about most specifically in the Ten Commandments. For example the devil would want you to give into the temptation of envy by making you think about how worthless you are. And when you do it can link to other sin gateways such as fear and jealousy.

  • The Helmet of Salvation I hope you guys know that most intrusive thoughts are not yours but the devil putting the most random things in your mind to distract you from your peace. It could be you have harmful thoughts towards someone you don’t even know. The helmet of salvation also ties in with your identity in a child of God knowing that and being able to take comfort in that so when the enemy wants you to believe that you are alone you take comfort in the fact that God looks after all of his children and he promises to never leaves or forsake us. To be a constant presence that is always with us.

  • The Belt of Truth is the core of everything we say and believe and because we are children of God who have turned away from. It is in the mid-section to keep us stable and to balance our everyday. As Christ believers we are supposed to mimic God and learn from him and he is pure and whole. He is a symbol of truth and he’d walks with us that’s why it is the belt that steady’s us. He repels the devil The Father of Lies.

  • Verse 18 is a very powerful verse because praying in the spirit is something that can easily be mimicked by demonic powers. Praying in the spirit is inviting the Holy Spirit into every prayer and lowering yourself to a position where you’re like God you know everything I know nothing except you are sovereign. Praying in the Holy Spirit is also speaking in tongues which are heavenly languages that only you and God can understand and not anyone else even the devil. It is a personalised language to you communicating with the very spirit of God

  • God urges us at the end in verse 18 apart for ourselves pray for other believers that put on their armour specifically the persecuted church in non-free religion, non-Christian countries.

Ephesians 6:10-18

10For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Master and in the mightiness of His strength.

11Put on the complete armour of God, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the devil.

12Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies.

13Because of this, take up the complete armour of God, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace;

16above all, having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one.

17Take also the helmet of Salvation / deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

18praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones...
